Kenway & Clark Super Saturday

There is an event for everyone

The Kenway and Clark Super Saturday is a celebration of all things multisport, with events and atmosphere suited to all ages and levels of fitness. Make sure you get the whole family involved and feel the thrill of the Hell of the West finish line.

  • HOTW Inferno Run — male and female
  • HOTW Firestarter Tri — 12yrs+ male and female
  • Hell Kids Tri — 6–9yrs, 10–11yrs
  • Age as at 31 December 2025

Race Registration & Kit Collection

Friday 6 March

  • 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm: Race registration & kit collection at Goondiwindi Town Park

Saturday 7 March

  • 6:30 am – 30min Prior to your race start: Race registration & kit collection at Goondiwindi Town Park

Individuals & Teams

  • Please ensure you have an electronic or card copy of your AusTriathlon membership (triathlon only).
  • This must be shown at registration if required.

HOTW Firestarter Teams

  • Each team member must have their online registration completed.
  • If details are incomplete, the relevant team member(s) must present in person at registration before the race kit will be released.

Gundy Inferno Run – Event Day

The HOTW Inferno Run is the perfect challenge for both experienced and novice runners. A safe, flat course with plenty of support and aid stations.

Event Details

  • Choice of 5 km or 10 km charity run
  • Live timing and results
  • Legendary HOTW finish chute experience
  • $20 from every entry goes to a local charity
  • Prams welcome
  • All finishers receive a HOTW visor/cap

6:30 – 7:15 am Registration at Town Park for last-minute entries & race kit pickup
Preferred kit collection: Friday 6 March, 3:00 – 6:00 pm
7:15 am Race Briefing (Town Park)
7:30 am Race Start (Town Park)
Finish – Town Park race precint

~11:30 – 12:30 pm Presentations after completion of all Super Saturday events

Hell Kids – Event Day

A fun, confidence-building tri for ages 6–9 and 10–11. Short, fully supervised course with heaps of cheering down the legendary HOTW finish chute. Participation only — every kid is a winner! 

Event Details

  • Age groups: 6–9 and 10–11 (as at 31 Dec 2025)
  • Finisher cap/visor for all kids
  • Participation event (no podium awards)
  • 6-9yrs = 50m Swim + 2.5Km Bike + 500m Run
  • 10-11yrs = 100m Swim + 5km Bike + 1km Run
  • Swim not compulsoy
  • No Teams
Friday 6th March Preferred kit collection 3:00–6:00pm (Town Park)

Race Day Timeline – Saturday 7th March

6:30 – 9:00am Race kit collections (Town Park) 
8:00am – 9:00am Bike racking (Transition Town Park) 
9:15 Race marshalling all ages (Town Pool)
9:30am Race start by age group 
10am -10:30am Finish-Down the HOTW chute at Town Park precinct
11:30 Bike pickup –Transition can’t open until Firestarter Tri has completed

What to bring

Swim-Swim cap (from race kit) & optional goggles
Bike- Well-fitted helmet; bike in safe working order (if cycling is part of your wave)
Run- Covered shoes
Clothing- Torso must be covered during bike & run (girls one piece swim suit it fine, boys need a shirt or tri-top)

Participation Cap/visor for all finishers (no podiums)

HOTW Firestarter Tri – Event Day

The Firestarter is the perfect race for people to give triathlon a go.

Event Details

  • 200 m Swim – pool swim, rolling start for a safe & relaxed entry
  • 7.5 km Bike – 3-loop, fully closed road course for maximum crowd support
  • 2 km Run – finish down the legendary HOTW chute
  • Open to individuals & teams, ages 12+ (as at 31 Dec 2025)
  • Every finisher receives a HOTW race cap
Friday 6th March 3-6pm Preferred Kit collection (town park)

Race Day Timeline

6:30 – 8:30 am Registration & race bag pick-up (Town Park)

8:00 – 10:00 am Bike racking (Town Park transition)
Bikes/helmets checked by officials; bikes must be safe & have covered bar ends
Bring with you Swim cap (from race kit), well-fitted helmet, covered shoes, and torso-covered tri clothing
10:15 am Race briefing (Town Pool)
10:30 am Race start (Town Pool)

Join the Goondiwindi Triathlon Club for a
HELL of a post-race party at the
Queensland Hotel — affectionately known as the
QL. It’s the perfect spot to celebrate your achievements with fellow athletes,
supporters, and the HOTW crew after tackling the toughest tri in QLD.
